The Year That was A Day

Once the book is published, it shows up on both the website and the Android app for purchase. Books uploaded on Okadabooks are secured, so secured you can’t open the books without it’s Android App. As at January 2015, Okadabooks already had 8000+ books in it’s store, 28850+ registered users with over 340,000 downloads and counting, every hour. Once a book is in the store, readers have the option of paying in different payment methods including Paypal and MasterCard. Other methods include Local banks, PAGA and local airtime. However, some books are free and do not require any of the payment means mentioned and authors make about 70% on each sale!

The name Okadabooks was forged from the word Okada. An Okada is a commercial motorcycle used as a vehicle for hire in Nigeria. The name okada was borrowed from Okada Air, a Nigerian local airline, now defunct.
